From the Mackinaw Bridge travel northbound on I-75 for 15 miles, take M-134 east 42 miles to the Village of DeTour.

Take a right at the blinker light and you will be able to see the dock for the Ferry to the Island.

from the mainland of DeTour Village, Michigan.

The Island has 150 miles of Shoreline and 87,000 acres of wilderness, and is over 50% State owned.

The Ferry Schedule is posted at the dock.

The Ferry runs hourly throughout the day and night in

the summer and in busy times they may run two boats, which just keep going back and forth.

Getting to the Island is not a Problem!
